'Tea-set Noir' (2007)
Unique single edition black tea-set comprising sugar bowl, teapot, milk jug and spoon and tray. The designer has left one leg of the sugar bowl unrepaired, giving it a slightly
quirky, apperance which adds real character to the set.

1986
Christine recently graduated form Northumbria University's highly regarded 3d design degree course, and within weeks won the Peter Walker award for innovation in product design. Her designs incorporate recycling and reuse, restoring components from old tea sets. long discarded, they may be rusting and with parts broken or missing, but Misiak gives them new life by combining parts from other sets, repairing and then finally adding colour, sometimes to individual parts, sometimes to the whole piece. Each set is unique.
