Unique Illuminated sculpture
Signed by the artist
Goldsmiths' graduate Martin Maloney has been crucial to the rise over the past few years of a new generation in British art. His highly-coloured, expressive paintings have reintroduced a sense of the romantic into contemporary art. Maloney's work has been shown in such landmark exhibitions as Sensation at London's Royal Academy, New Neurotic Realism at the Saatchi Gallery, and Die Young Stay Pretty - which he also curated - at London's ICA. His series of unique table lamp sculptures are a great example of the art/design cross over pieces that Opus Interiors specializes in sourcing.
Martin Maloney has also contributed to major international art magazines - such as Artforum and Flash Art - and even, in the mid 90s, ran his own gallery, Lost in Space, from his South London flat.
