Opus is proud to present a powerful introductory exhibition of prints by world renowned Jamie Reid, the maverick artist famed for the iconic Sex Pistols artwork of the 1970s, and for the political activism that drives his impassioned artwork. Whilst infamous for his contribution to the punk movement, Reid is also well known for his stoic dedication to anti-war campaigns and was one of the founders of Suburban Press in 1970.
This exhibition sees the Northern launch of three new signed limited edition prints, and offers a rare opportunity to see the original collage created by Reid for the Sex Pistols’ ‘God Save the Queen’ record cover.
